Watch the trailer below, or click here to watch on YouTube.

Organized by YouTube’s favorite flipbook-maker, Andymation, this project united animators from around the world to recreate the entire movie of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring as a flipbook. Yes, you read that correctly: each frame of the three-hour movie was drawn by hand, comprising of over 1,500 individual flipbooks.

The clips I animated take place at Bilbo’s birthday party. In the trailer above, you can spot my work at 00:51 and my team and me at 03:16.

This film is in its final stages. I will post a link when it is available to watch online!

A Night with Monkey Gino (2025)

4 minutes • Digital 2D animation • All ages

Bedtime is more about fun and less about sleep for a monkey who wants to play. But when his show curtain opens at sunrise, will he shine or snooze?

My latest animated short film has its own page on my website. I’m that excited about it!

Paddleball Hole (2017)

3 minutes • Traditional animation/live-action hybrid • Ages 10+

Two animated characters discover a portal from their world to Santa Monica Beach, where they cross paths with two real-life beachgoers.

  • When I lived in Los Angeles, I wanted to craft a story that utilized the sights and sounds of the West Coast. I was also becoming more serious about animation, and I thought it would be a beneficial exercise to practice traditional animation techniques on paper. Inspired by the animation sequences in Mary Poppins, I combined my animation with live-action footage of the actors. I love the resulting contrast of simple doodles against vibrant beach colors.
